Details of the Construction

The HQII is presently embarking on a major construction project on an existing plot of land in Highlands, Phoenix whereon Aleemiah Dar Ul Uloom was initially constructed, building recently pulled down for a new bigger modern complex to be named Abdul Aleem Centre to honour the blessed memory of His Most Exalted Eminence Mawlana Shah Abdul Aleem Siddiqui the Founder Patron of Halkae Quadria Ishaat I Islam. The project consists of:

• A new place of worship designed with the assistance of Turkish Consultants, experts in the field of Ottoman Architecture, the very first of its kind unique in the region. This distinct project will stand out as a landmark in our local landscape thereby further enriching our multi-cultural heritage.
• A social block which will be used mainly for education purposes including religious education and boarding facilities.
• A reference library for research and information accessible to all Mauritians including Tourists.
• An Auditorium for conferences and forums covering a wide spectrum of subjects and issues not only with religious dimensions from Islamic perspective but of universal concern as well.



It will stand out in the landscape of Mauritius and the entire region as a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture, the very first of its kind in our region, thus further enhancing the richness of our multicultural national heritage on which our tourist industry considerably leverages to attract tourists from all parts of the globe.
